ABOUT SUN & MOON

Unlike almost all of the other web companies in PA - both big and small - I have a passion and experience in conducting formal usability studies and analysis.
What's that? Well, it means I research the best to way to construct a website. It makes a difference, say, on where the logo is placed. Eye tracking studies show that most people read a web page in an "F" shape pattern.
I also pay particular attention to Section 508 (American with Disabilities Act) and have experience in conducting usability analysis with screen readers.
Ok - desire doesn't mean capability so here's the rest of my "resume"

Graduated Harrisburg Area Community College May 2004 with an A.A in Web Development.
Dean's List honoree (I really DO know what I'm doing) :)
Completed several classes at American Graphics Institute. These guys were the first in Pennsylvania to be Adobe Certified Instructors! Classes completed include: HTML I & II, DHTML, PageMaker I & II and PhotoShop.
Experience and training in: Microsoft Access & Excel; HTML; DHTML; XML; PHP; CSS; SQL; OOP; Javascript; Coldfusion; Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator and Pagemaker; Macromedia Studio MX 2004/Studio 8 including Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, Contribute and Director; Internet Marketing; Two Dimensional design; Computer Graphics, Visual Studio.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET and IIS.

Currently employed as the Web Administrator for Harrisburg Area Community College.
Former Web Developer for Cumberland County, Pa.
2 1/2 years as a Web Designer/Developer with Hainey Business Systems -Division of Affinigent, Inc. (formerly a subsidiary of Shipley Group).
9+ years experience in web site design and related software through Sun & Moon Web Design. The web was just really getting started then.
Overall 35+ websites completed and counting....

Oh yeah, I just can't leave this part without mentioning the bikes - Harley Davidsons are our big passion. And yes - I ride my own. The greatest way to unwind I've found yet........
